The designer’s notebook, today supported by the digital camera and other automatic survey’s equipment talks about his experience of traveling worldwide to discover the architecture and enhance his knowledge of it. The main important characteristics of places are captured and noted during journeys in which most architectures are identified by a single protagonist: the designer, in fact. However, sites and monuments can become the principal actors of the narrative. They can be described by means of the drawings of most travelers who, at different times, have visited them. A kind of travel journal that takes no longer (or not entirely) in the space, but over time, and in which the subject is the architecture and no longer the architects, by now witnesses and storytellers of changes made over the centuries.
