The article compares the literary representation of some aspects of the Russian provinces in the novel of Ivan Goncharov "Oblomov" and of the Austrian provinces in the novel of Adalbert Stifter "Indian Summer." The comparison shows interesting affinities.
L’articolo mette a confronto la rappresentazione letteraria di alcuni aspetti della provincia russa nel romanzo di I. Goncharov “Oblomov” e della provincia austriaca nel romanzo di Adalbert Stifter “Tarda estate”. Dal confronto emergono interessanti affinità.
