This article proposes an analysis of the data of the questionnaire administered in the middle schools of Bergamo which was carried out as part of the research Alternanza formativa e alla valenza orientativa delle discipline. In particular, thanks to the intersection of the answers provided by the students and the teachers, the analytical reading of the data has allowed to formulate interpretative hypotheses about the perception (in some cases concordant, in other divergent) that the same students and teachers have about the teaching learning actions and their relative modalities of carrying out and the implications that these actions (and/or lack of actions) have in terms of educational alternation and educational guidance.
