The school, like any other institution that does not want to be separated from reality, is called to renew itself. But how and through which form? This research, launched in 2010, explores whether and how «the schools of Bergamo promote the mastery of the disciplinary contents and the encounter between theory and practice, study and work, knowledge and skills». In this way it intends to trace some reflections that lead to the path of change, putting at the center a decisive question: we want to go in the direction of a school that focuses on the disciplines or we want to make the disciplines an opportunity for a greater understanding of reality, and experience an opportunity to understand the contents that the disciplines themselves convey?
