Valorizzazione culturale e sistemi di mapping: le mappe rupestri della Valle Camonica

Starting from the rock art located in Valle Camonica, the chapter illustrates the semiotic methodology for the identification and analysis of prehistoric cartographic representations. In this context, will be introduced both the proposed participatory research – which has the aim to investigate the value that the inhabitants attribute to the Camunian territory – and the cartographic systems realized at the CST-DiathesisLab, these are tools capable of understanding the sense of the territory and proposing a networked cultural and touristic enhancement.

Partendo dalle incisioni presenti in Valle Camonica, il capitolo illustra la metodologia semiotica per l’individuazione e l’analisi delle rappresentazioni cartografiche di natura preistorica. In tale ambito, si introduce la ricerca partecipativa prospettata per indagare il valore che gli abitanti attribuiscono al territorio camuno e i sistemi cartografici realizzati presso il CST-DiathesisLab, intesi quali strumenti in grado di considerare il senso del territorio e proporre una valorizzazione culturale e turistica in rete.
