L’influenza dell’opera di Čechov sulla poetica di N. Ginzburg

The Italian writer Natalia Ginzburg considered Chekhov's texts a kind of model for her work. A careful study of her texts reveals those points of contact in the poetics of the two writers, which testify to the influence that Chekhov had on Ginzburg. It manifests itself in the choice of finals for works, in the use of accurate details in the characteristics of characters and in the creation of landscapes, in the functioning of comparisons with animals in texts, in a certain type of metonymy, in striving for stylistic simplicity, etc. This research highlights some aspects of the perception of Chekhov's poetics in the works of the Italian writer.

Natalia Ginzburg più volte ha dichiarato di considerare Čechov come un modello per la propria scrittura, il suo nume. L’attento studio della sua opera rivela diversi punti d’incontro con la poetica cecoviana, tra cui: tipologia dei finali, uso del dettaglio nella caratteristica dei personaggi e nella creazione dei paesaggi e dell’atmosfera, funzionamento delle comparazioni con riferimento al mondo animale, un particolare tipo di metonimie, aspirazione alla semplicità stilistica e strutturale. In questa sede verrà condotta una breve analisi della ripresa di alcuni motivi cecoviani nell’opera della scrittrice italiana.
