Il dibattito sui progetti di codificazione autonoma per la Colonia Eritrea

A forgotten page of the Italian colonialism is the project to adopt, at the beginning of the twentieth century, the Eritrean codes. In the end, the project was not approved and, therefore, never entered into force. This shows that, even in the particular context of colonial law, legal transplants by imposition are extremely difficult to implement, and almost always doomed to failure.
