The following paper deals with the results of cyclic experimental tests on a beam-column joint for precast elements (Eiseko Fly System) put together with a "dry" assembly, without the need of temporary support frames, and then completed through a supplementary cast of the joint. In addition to the typical advantages of precast systems, such as high qualitative standards and ease of the assembly operations and so the possibility of realize even in a short time multi-storey buildings, the studied system is characterized by a low aesthetic impact related to the lack of exposed corbels which are integrated in the supplementary cast of the joint, showing at the same time a static behaviour similar to that of RC cast-in-situ structures. The test specimen, representative of a corner beam-.column joint of the first level of a RC precast frame, was at first subjected to the service axial load and then to cyclic displacements of increasing amplitude up to failure. The experimental results showed the effectiveness of the connection system in the protection of the joint panel, characterized only by few hair-thin cracks, with the localization of the damage at beam-column interface. Moreover the specimen showed an approximately symmetric behaviour in both the two load directions, reaching good ductility levels.
