The paper deals with the study of the auxiliary circuit system onboard of a train. The study is carried out using the matricial analysis in order to determine the emission harmonic spectrum caused by the converters supplying the auxiliary services. The harmonic analysis is important to size the filters present in the system, that limit the harmonic disturbances, and avoid interferences with frequencies dedicated to other applications. A simulation of the whole system through an algorithm, implemented using a dedicated program, has been realized.

Abstract

The paper deals with the study of the auxiliary circuit system onboard of a train. The study is carried out using the matricial analysis in order to determine the emission harmonic spectrum caused by the converters supplying the auxiliary services. The harmonic analysis is important to size the filters present in the system, that limit the harmonic disturbances, and avoid interferences with frequencies dedicated to other applications. A simulation of the whole system through an algorithm, implemented using a dedicated program, has been realized.
