Creativity, particularly in its component of flexibility in thinking, is essential in coping with difficulties and challenges in everyday life and, more generally, in acting adaptively in a daily context. Creative thinking has proven to be trainable in every stage of life, even when cognitive impairment occurs. The implementation of a training program called CREC (CReativity in Everyday life Challenges) with 10 post-stroke patients, both hemorrhagic and ischemic (gender: 70% male; age: M=67 years; schooling: M=10 years), is described. The aim of the training is to improve flexibility and problem-solving abilities through an innovative approach based on creative thinking.

Abstract
Creativity, particularly in its component of flexibility in thinking, is essential in coping with difficulties and challenges in everyday life and, more generally, in acting adaptively in a daily context. Creative thinking has proven to be trainable in every stage of life, even when cognitive impairment occurs. The implementation of a training program called CREC (CReativity in Everyday life Challenges) with 10 post-stroke patients, both hemorrhagic and ischemic (gender: 70% male; age: M=67 years; schooling: M=10 years), is described. The aim of the training is to improve flexibility and problem-solving abilities through an innovative approach based on creative thinking.File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
