The book thematises the issue of museum labels and the challenge of writing a "good" label. The issue is seen both from the viewpoint of the verbal contents (in relationship with changing societies, issues of representation, social justice etc.) and the graphic layout, mostly in terms of accessibility within the framework of "design for all". The book stems from a series of training courses for museum professionals developed by Fondazione Querini Stampalia, Venice, and is produced by the institution in partnership with Cà Foscari University (Department of Management), ICOM Italy, ABCittà, Spazio BK and WeExhibit.
