Abstract

The Fourth Industrial Revolution and the ongoing technological evolution are triggering significant transformations at the cultural, social, and economic levels. The rapid changes that affect the world of work reveal the need to involve the main actors. They have the responsibility to guide organizational and professional changes within a participatory and collaborative research path that can explain and describe the different ways of dealing with experiences related to the ongoing challenges. The scientific research described here is based on two questions:How is work culture changing? Are the elements of the new work culture also useful in the advent of a sudden and radical transformation? The answers show that the ongoing cultural transformation can become a new space for action, in which those involved in training, education, and development go beyond the logic of traditional learning and ask themselves what it means to prepare people and organizations for the world of work of the future.
