Tropen und Metaphern im Gelehrtendiskurs des 18. Jahrhunderts

Abstract

Das Vorwort präsentiert zentrale Aspekte der Interferenz natur-und geisteswissenschaftlicher Wissensbestände im 18. Jahrhundert aus sprachwissenschaftlicher, literarischer und anthropologisch-philosophischer Sicht. Man argumentiert noch wie im 18. Jahrhundert es zu einer Bedeutungsverschiebung im Bereich der Metaphern kommt, da sie jetzt neue Bedeutungskomponenten im Bereich der Sinneswahrnehmungen bekommen. Ein Teil der Beiträge betrifft die Metaphern im rhetorischen Bereich, andere sind der Kunsttheorie und der Literatur gewidmet und eine letzte Sektion des Bandes beschäftigt sich mit Metaphern im medizinischen Bereich.

Il volume è scaturito da una collaborazione italo-franco-tedesca fra le società del XVIII secolo ed è stato accolto in una delle sedi di pubblicazione più prestigiose per gli studi sui concetti filosofici e scientifici, ovvero la collana in cui Hans Blumenberg ha pubblicato alcuni suoi studi di metaforologia più noti.
