The volume is a part of a Public Engagement project financed by the University of Bergamo which consists of the writing and staging of a theatrical performance, with a specific focus on the transformations of inter-gender relations and, in particular, on the male metamorphosis. Starting from an original text that evokes some evangelical scenes, the performance represents the various aspects with which masculinities can configure and reconfigure themselves, underlining in particular those traits that do not fall within the canon of traditional masculinity, such as, for example, tenderness and care. The volume consists of a long introduction that scientifically and narratively articulates the concept of 'Gilania' and the text of the performance.

Abstract
The volume is a part of a Public Engagement project financed by the University of Bergamo which consists of the writing and staging of a theatrical performance, with a specific focus on the transformations of inter-gender relations and, in particular, on the male metamorphosis. Starting from an original text that evokes some evangelical scenes, the performance represents the various aspects with which masculinities can configure and reconfigure themselves, underlining in particular those traits that do not fall within the canon of traditional masculinity, such as, for example, tenderness and care. The volume consists of a long introduction that scientifically and narratively articulates the concept of 'Gilania' and the text of the performance.File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
