This book is the French translation of 'Generativita(s). The responsibility of being daughters and sons', by the Italian publisher Lubrina Bramani (2016). It has been one of the most significant intellectual experiences of my life so far. It is the result of the reflexivity deriving from the generativity - not only biological - of previous years; this work has marked my academic path in a non-traditionally academic way. I immersed myself in the study of the evolution of 'genders' and the changing relationships between male and female from a scientific perspective but also influenced by life, by lives. Since then, obviously, Gender Studies has produced many other and different new issues: I am aware that I am delivering an 'old' book to a new audience, as testimony to a living seed that has generated a lot in me and, I hope, even in those who read me in Italian.
