The invention relates to: a pulley with a improved pin for supporting diamond wires, i.e, an improved pin of a pulley used in machines that cutting machines with several diamond wires, which are placed to sliding in the known manner over a block of stone for cut into thick slabs, the cut being simultaneous with the whole or part of the block, and comprising a new mounting pin of the single pulley to support and/or return the wires enclosed in a ring. The new pulley is advantageously used in the specific tensioning device for the series of wires associated with the multi-wire cutting machine, uniquely for each wire.
