The advent of the Anthropocene has triggered a radical rethinking of how nature is understood and represented, fostering an ecological perspective that conceives the human and the nonhuman as deeply entangled in relations of interdependence and intra-action. Ranging across diverse arts and fields of knowledge—from literature to philosophy, from cinema to geography, from theatre to garden theory—the essays collected in this volume situate themselves within this debate, offering contributions to the construction of a new, non-anthropocentric imaginary that foregrounds interconnection, entanglement, nonhuman agency, and an embodied epistemology no longer aligned with the subject–object opposition.
