A renewed centrality of the concept of space in the debate within the territorial disciplines implies, for the study of the renewal of the categories of definition of the urban environment : what density consider (demographic, functional, flows of life...)? What meaning attributed to the edges in a context in which change rapidly geographies of urban and gradients of density? Particularly interesting to turn our gaze to the intermediate territory, that 'fabric irregular colloidal of rural landscapes and suburban' already heralded by Gottmann, and frequented by numerous researches aimed at restoring territorial figures recognizable and narrabili. And for anyone who deals with spatial planning to work on figures treatable in a drawing of territorial governance relevant and appropriate. A stimulating exercise consists in collecting challenges (Brenner, Schmid,…) and search within a negation of those edges hardly recognizable, reading the city as interweaving between the signs more or less deep in the armature cultural heritage of the territory and the composite entity that takes shape by spatial capital (soya, Warf, Arias, Marramao) held by its inhabitants.

Abstract
A stimulating exercise consists in collecting challenges (Brenner, Schmid,…) and search within a negation of those edges hardly recognizable, reading the city as interweaving between the signs more or less deep in the armature cultural heritage of the territory and the composite entity that takes shape by spatial capital (soya, Warf, Arias, Marramao) held by its inhabitants.File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
