In this paper I shall discuss the question whether philosophy and neurosciences could collaborate on a common research project. I shall argue that neurosciences are relevant to philosophy only to the extent that they have something to say on mind. This is the case of cognitive neuroscience, the discipline whose object is the study of the neural bases of mental processes and capacities. Through the discussion of two case studies, I shall show how cognitive neurosciences could be of advantage to philosophy and vice-versa.
