Editor in chief and founder of the Cordoban journal Cántico, Pablo García Baena also collaborates with Caracola of Malaga, in which pages we find eleven of his compositions as a significant sample of his poetics. His books combine texts according to criteria of thematic and stylistic coherence, not always in chronological order of writing; both the dates of appearance in Caracola and Cántico and the fact that the thirteen sonnets of Almoneda (1971) appeared together many years after their writing corroborates the thesis. Therefore, we believe that analyzing them from another perspective can contribute to the study of his creative career, although the corpus is limited to twelve appearances as a poet between 1953 and 1971, with a composition repeated in 1972, and two reviews and a prose that we will not take into account in this venue.
