The chapter summarizes the concept of polarity and family semantic and demonstrate its usefulness for the therapeutic chane through two clinical cases. Both these cases deal with an unexpected betrayal within two couples with different semantics. The chapter discusses also the specific premises at the base of t each couple's semantic and therapist's position.
