Abstract

A quantitative meta-analysis of 36 reshoring case studies published in scientific journals to date, identifies a number of statistically significant contingencies for reshoring, including the preceding offshoring decision. Based on a hierarchical cluster analysis, three patterns of offshoring and reshoring decision-making relationships are identified.
