This article concerns a particular editorial experience that developed in Italy during the final part of World War II and the early Postwar: the Edizioni U. The publishing house led by Dino Gentili represented an attempt to introduce an anti-fascist political culture that was linked neither to Marxism nor to Catholicism. Basically, by using the new primary sources of the Gentili’s archive, I tried to explain how they promoted the theoretical topics and the history of Giustizia e Libertà.
