This article examines the argumentative potential of dialogism using an illustrative example of parliamentary debate: the bill on the offence of obstructing abortion. The analysis focuses on two dialogical directions: one involving previous discourse outside the debate: the other involving previous comment or the addressee’s expected response. It shows how the two forms of dialogism represent a multifaceted argumentative resource for those involved in debate.

Cet article explore le potentiel argumentatif du dialogisme dans le débat parlementaire à partir d’un exemple significatif : la proposition de loi sur le délit d’entrave à l’interruption volontaire de grossesse. L’analyse se concentre sur deux orientations dialogiques : l’une vers des discours antérieurs externes au débat ; l’autre, vers le tour de parole antérieur ou vers la réponse anticipée de l’allocutaire. Elle montre en quoi les deux formes de dialogisme constituent pour les participants au débat une ressource argumentative multifacette.
El presente artículo trata sobre el potencial argumentativo del dialogismo en un caso illustrativo de debate parlamentario: la propuesta de ley sobre el delito de obstrucción a la interrupción voluntaria del embarazo. El análisis se centra en dos orientaciones dialógicas: una sobre discursos anteriores externos al debate, otra sobre el turno del habla anterior o hacia la respuesta que el discurso provoca y anticipa. El estudio pretende demostrar cómo las dos formas de dialogismo constituyen para los participantes en el debate un recurso argumentativo multifacético.
