Olvido García Valdés and Pier Paolo Pasolini’s poetics share common features that derive mainly from the elaboration of visual elements of reality: from the immersion of the subject in rural or artistic environments, the books La religión de mi tiempo of the Italian poet and Del ojo al hueso, which the Asturian poet composes just aer having translated Pasolini's collection into Spanish, present a common visual poetic that allows us to enter a metaphysical path whose only transcendent knowledge is the dimension of animal and historical solitude.

Las poéticas de Olvido García Valdés y de Pier Paolo Pasolini comparten rasgos comunes que derivan sobre todo de la elaboración de elementos visuales de la realidad: a partir de la inmersión del sujeto en entornos rurales o artísticos, los poemarios La religión de mi tiempo del italiano y Del ojo al hueso, que la poeta asturiana compone justo después de haber traducido al español el libro de Pasolini, presentan una poética visual común que permite adentrarse en un camino metafísico cuya única meta trascendente es la dimensión de soledad animal e histórica.
