The article explores the impact of the presence of Le Corbusier at the IX Triennale in Milan. The Swiss architect, in fact, took part in an international conference on the issue of proportions, attended by many pf the most prominent artists, scholars and designers of the time. The article is based on an in-depth analysis of the documents (letters, official documents, photos etc) related to that seminar and mainly preserved at the Triennale Archives.
