The Shoah Memorial in Milan, a historical building re-designed by Annalisa Curti and Guido Morpurgo in order to host the memory of the deportation during the war, in 2015-16 hosted for a few season many refugees from Sub-Saharian African countries and the Middle-East. The article analyses the cultural clash of these two epic flees across countries through the lens of memorial processes, representation, and "difficult heotage".
