The article deals with Ana María Martínez-Sagi, poet, athlete and journalist who in her time achieved great notoriety in different fields: the text focuses on her collaborations with the graphic magazine Crónica. In the pages of the weekly the author writes about very different topics: the article will focus on the texts dealing with the relationship between women, sports and beauty. Thanks to her articles, our author contributes to affirming the image of a new, modern woman, who celebrates her agility, her strength and her body, cultivated and pampered, following the example of modernity from other European countries.
