The paper explores the applicability of the AOSD approaches to the re-engineering of a logistic software for trucks flow management in a large steel pipes plant. The AOSD approach is used to identify the impact of the evolution requirements. Each new requirement is interpreted as a “Crosscutting Concern”, crossing the modular structure of the product. This leads to the definition of a number of “Crosscutting Matrices” and of a “Cost Matrix” which is used for estimating the effort and supporting the requirements negotiation.
