In the first part the paper discusses critically what are the novelties of globalisation and the new economy, as the background on which the dynamics of the European capitalism must be set. In the second part, there is a discussion on how the precarisation and casualisation of employment has been driven both by macro and micro sequences. The Neo-Liberal stagnationist turn, the attack on Welfare State, the real subsumption of labour to finance, the new governance, the changes in the labour process. In the third and last part some hints are presented on an alternative structural economic policy countering these trends.

Abstract
In the first part the paper discusses critically what are the novelties of globalisation and the new economy, as the background on which the dynamics of the European capitalism must be set. In the second part, there is a discussion on how the precarisation and casualisation of employment has been driven both by macro and micro sequences. The Neo-Liberal stagnationist turn, the attack on Welfare State, the real subsumption of labour to finance, the new governance, the changes in the labour process. In the third and last part some hints are presented on an alternative structural economic policy countering these trends.File allegato/i alla scheda:
