The evolution of the case law shows in various jurisdictions, that foreign law has become an increasingly ancillary tool to traditional techniques for interpretation and dispute-settlement, at least as a good practice. With an emphasis on two recent cases decided by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), the present paper aims to investigate about links between comparing method and the judicial cooperation system at outset of a uniform interpretation as well as implementation of EU law.
