Annotazioni 'formali' sulla ballata dantesca

This paper aims to investigate the relationship between poetic text and (possible) musical intonation within Dante's corpus of ballads. Starting from the general problems involving the tradition of the Rhymes in question, a study of the strophic and versificatory forms and more or less direct references to musical practices is proposed. In addition to the compositions that are certainly Dantean, some texts that are 'doubtful' or attributable to the poet are also the subject of the present study.

Il presente contributo intende indagare il rapporto fra testo poetico e (possibile) intonazione musicale all’interno del corpus di ballate dantesche. A partire dai problemi generali che coinvolgono la tradizione delle Rime in oggetto, si propone uno studio delle forme strofiche e versificatorie e dei rimandi più o meno diretti alle pratiche musicali. Oltre alle composizioni certamente dantesche, sono oggetto del presente studio anche alcuni testi ‘dubbi’ o attribuibili al poeta.
