This study aims to understand how servitisation can support environmental, economic and social sustainability. In particular, the focus is on the automotive, an industrial sector intrinsically linked to the concept of sustainable mobility and that can be considered as a reference for understanding the relationship between sustainability and servitisation, as both paradigms have long been common elements of this business. Based on the evidence from some relevant case studies, the study highlights that servitisation can act as a lever to promote environmental and social sustainability, but it requires the development of appropriate operational processes, substantial economic investment stimulated by central government support, and a cultural change at every level of the organisation.

Abstract
This study aims to understand how servitisation can support environmental, economic and social sustainability. In particular, the focus is on the automotive, an industrial sector intrinsically linked to the concept of sustainable mobility and that can be considered as a reference for understanding the relationship between sustainability and servitisation, as both paradigms have long been common elements of this business. Based on the evidence from some relevant case studies, the study highlights that servitisation can act as a lever to promote environmental and social sustainability, but it requires the development of appropriate operational processes, substantial economic investment stimulated by central government support, and a cultural change at every level of the organisation.File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
