The article focuses on the history of Italian publisher’s interest to A.S. Griboedov’s life and works in the last hundred years. Special attention is given to the Italian translation of “Gore ot Uma” with some interesting details about the specialists of Russian literature who translated the comedy text. As a result of this investigation, we can say that in Italy Griboedov’s comedy enjoyed great interest, especially in relation to performances inspired to it. On the contrary, it is to say that very few researches have been published in Italy on Griboedov and the most important essays about him are the same introductions to the new editions.

Abstract
