The realization of “main" transport infrastructure often develops within contexts difficult decision, characterized by high levels of conflict between public and private actors. The most common descriptions tend to attribute to the well-known pattern NIMBY (Not In My Backyard). The purpose of the contribution is to reconstruct the network of territorial-political actors and interests involved in decision making for four major transport infrastructure (“Brebemi-TEM” motorway in Milan, Lombardy “Pedemontana”, the news transalpine railways “Turin-Lyon” and “Alpine Rail-Link”), showing scales (local-institutional) and forms of legitimacy of the choices.The analysis of the practical wants to bring out different shapes and visions of the '"general interest".
La realizzazione di “grandi” infrastrutture di trasporto si sviluppa spesso all’interno di contesti decisionali caratterizzati da elevati livelli di conflittualità, che le descrizioni più diffuse tendono a ricondurre al ben noto schema NIMBY (Not in My Backyard). Scopo del contributo è quello di ricostruire il network politico territoriale degli attori e degli interessi coinvolti in processi decisionali relativi a quattro grandi infrastrutture di tra-sporto (autostrada Brebemi-TEM di Milano, Pedemontana lombarda, nuova linea ferrovia-ria Torino-Lione, nuova trasversale ferroviaria alpina), evidenziando scale (territoriali - istituzionali) e forme di legittimazione delle scelte. L’analisi delle esperienze praticate vuole fare emergere diverse forme e visioni dell’”interesse generale”.
