Abuse in sport, child protection and safeguarding policies

The Author focuses on abuse in sport, especially against minors, and offersa review of the main International and European legal and non-legal instruments available to tackle this hateful and intolerable plague. In particular, the Author’s analysis is centered on the safeguarding policies adopted both at International level by the International Olympic Committee (IOC), and, more recently, at national level and on the importance of raising awareness on abuse in sport and educating people to deal with it.
