La digitalizzazione del Patrimonio Culturale: rilievo, conservazione e valorizzazione della fabbrica e delle collezioni del complesso di San Francesco a Bergamo

The essay illustrates part of the project developed by the University of Bergamo and the Museum of the Histories of Bergamo, for the knowledge, protection and enhancement of the former convent of San Francesco in the upper town. A 'jewel' little known both in its architecture and its movable patrimony composed of more than 100 erratic discoveries. New studies and surveys have increased awareness of the monumental complex, helpful for the development of a new museum exhibit design and layout.
