Abstract
In Nordic countries the class actions were introduced, often after years of legal and political debate, with effect from 2008, except for Sweden where the actions of the group were provided from 2003. The system chosen is usually the opt-in, but there are cases of operation of the optout mechanism. In all systems is very important the right of the ombudsmen to pursue class actions, also in the form of public class actions. The Finnish national legislation differs from the Swedish, Danish and Norwegian because is more restrictive, since the legal standing for the proposition of the class is recognized solely to Consumer Ombudsman.File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
