In particular, it questions the ideas he outlined in some chapters (Lieu, Univers, Mouvance) of his seminal work: Écoumène. Introduction à l’étude des milieux humains. The focus will be on the category of médiance and the idea that spatiality is a basic trait in human beings.

Géographie et Tournant spatial à travers de Augustin Berque Le but de cette étude est de rechercher, du point de vue géographique, le lien entre la géographie et la philosophie. A cet égard, reconnu le tournant spatial qui a touché plusieurs disciplines, l’étude examine les fondements philosophiques de la géographie d’Augustin Berque. En particulier, il questionne les idées exposées dans certains chapitres (Lieu, Univers, Mouvance) de sa oeuvre: Écoumène. Introduction à l’étude des milieux humains. On mettra l’accent sur la catégorie géographique de la médiance et sur l’idée que la spatialité est un trait fondamental des êtres humains.
