In order to test innovative photo-Fenton catalytic materials for applications in green technology of waste treatment using solar energy, La/Fe perovskites have been investigated. LaFeO3 and LaFe0.95Cu0.05O3-w nanopowders have been prepared by sol-gel auto-combustion method, using citric acid as complexing agent. The effects of catalyst loading have been investigated by photo-Fenton oxidation tests. LaFeO3 resulted more active than the copper-doped LaFeO3.
