The article investigates the meaning of educating in a time of crisis, violence, war. How can we open cracks to imagination and possibilities of hope in a present of desolation? In contexts of war the confrontation with the limits is a daily life experience, it's an insisting present. The article shows how a poetics of the present can be a way to face a politics of the present in educational contexts.
