This article focuses on the Italian translation (by Nico Orengo) of Tim Burton’s collection of poems "The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy & Other Stories". Rather than simply judging Nico Orengo’s efforts, this paper considers his texts on the basis of the challenging choices that the translation of poetry always implies.
