The greatest relevance of Alfred North Whitehead’s work, in my opinion, has to be related to the interpretation and understanding of the theory of relativity. He understood motion as a structural series of temporal events, avoiding permanent material bodies and refuting any interpretation of four-dimensional space-time as a kind of eternal permanence.
