Teaching models and learning outcomes in entrepreneurship education: the role of students’ and enterprising parents’ gender

Entrepreneurship Education (EE) programs provide students with the competencies to match the requests of today’s labor market and address societal challenges. There are numerous ways to implement EE, and literature has shown that different teaching models can lead to different outcomes. However, it is important to integrate this perspective with the socio-demographic one, particularly studying how individual characteristics influence the relationship between teaching models and learning outcomes. This research contributes to the literature by investigating how the gender of the student and of self-employed parents (where existing) affect the outcomes of different teaching models in EE.
