This research explores the concept of innovation ecosystems (IE) as collaborative structures with goal-oriented focus, distinct from other forms of collaboration. Despite several studies analysing IE, a comprehensive conceptualization of the determinants remains elusive. This paper systematizes IE determinants, identifying 11 sets with varying dynamism, as an attempt to conceptualise the determinants of IE. A proposed framework outlines their interplay, and goal orientation. The findings contribute to the debate by providing a comprehensive understanding of determinants, emphasizing interaction aspects, and offering insights to address gaps in the current debate.

Abstract
This research explores the concept of innovation ecosystems (IE) as collaborative structures with goal-oriented focus, distinct from other forms of collaboration. Despite several studies analysing IE, a comprehensive conceptualization of the determinants remains elusive. This paper systematizes IE determinants, identifying 11 sets with varying dynamism, as an attempt to conceptualise the determinants of IE. A proposed framework outlines their interplay, and goal orientation. The findings contribute to the debate by providing a comprehensive understanding of determinants, emphasizing interaction aspects, and offering insights to address gaps in the current debate.| File | Dimensione del file | Formato | |
