The book brings together contributions from experts in geography and literary studies, offering a polyphonic theoretical debate on the literary representation of space, in the light of the most recent reflections that have emerged in the context of geopoetics. Questioning the mappability of the literary text in its relations with geography, the essays confront the main problematic issues of literary cartography and geocriticism. In today's framework of ‘crisis of cartographic reason’, the book proposes diverse heuristic paths for unprecedented mappings of literary writing.
