Maestre, educatrici, madri. La formazione per il personale prescolastico e la ripresa dell’agazzismo nella seconda metà degli anni Venti = Teachers, Educators, Mothers. Training for Pre-School Staff and the Revival of Agazzi Method in the Second Half of the 1920s

The essay intends to reconstruct the development of training for preschool teachers in the years immediately following the promulgation of the Gentile reform. The Brescia pedagogical group orbiting around the Editrice La Scuola, in collaboration with the Italian Educator Association of Brother Alessandro Alessandrini, decided to establish method schools focused on the revival of the experience of Rosa and Carolina Agazzi, of whom Lombardo Radice was a great admirer. His participation in this project represented one of the factors of encounter between the pedagogical reflection carried out by the Brescians and Lombard Radice's Radicianism, laying the foundations for the birth of the Italian nursery school.

Il saggio intende ricostruire lo sviluppo della formazione per le educatrici degli istituti prescolastici negli anni immediatamente successivi alla promulgazione della riforma Gentile. Il gruppo pedagogico bresciano orbitante attorno all’Editrice La Scuola, in collaborazione con l’Associazione educatrice italiana di fratel Alessandro Alessandrini, decise di istituire scuole di metodo incentrate sulla ripresa dell’esperienza di Rosa e Carolina Agazzi, di cui Lombardo Radice era grande estimatore. La sua partecipazione a questo progetto rappresentò uno dei fattori di incontro tra la riflessione pedagogica portata avanti dai bresciani ed il lombardo radicianesimo, ponendo le basi per la nascita della scuola materna italiana
