The activities of study, research and experimentation born in the first Pietralba meetings were developed over the years and improved, during the Sixties, thanks to the contribution of Mario Mencarelli, a former “pietralbino”. He reread the teachings of the “master” Marco Agosti in an innovative perspective, focussed on so me points of convergence between Pietralba model of research and the new paradigm of science education. In this term, he opened a “second Pietralba season”.
