Preliminary results suggest that, following exposure to music that receives a higher aesthetic evaluation, the nervous system may benefit from the aesthetic attitude, leading to an enhanced implicit learning response. This finding appears to be consistent with previous research conducted on a population of healthy adults. However, a larger sample size will be required to statistically test the effect of the aesthetic attitude induced by preferred music. The research project also includes an applied component involving the use of self-selected music in the context of cognitive rehabilitation, in order to examine the cognitive enhancement effect associated with the aesthetic attitude within rehabilitative practice. This approach places greater emphasis on individual preferences and promotes a rehabilitation model tailored to the characteristics of each individual.
