This work presents the development of a wearable sensing system able to measure pH, by means of a functionalized textile and a color sensor. The sensible textile fabric has been obtained by the deposition of a hybrid silica matrix using sol-gel technique. The complete wearable optoelectronic device has been realized assembling together the textile sensor with a novel low-power color sensing.

Abstract

This work presents the development of a wearable sensing system able to measure pH, by means of a functionalized textile and a color sensor. The sensible textile fabric has been obtained by the deposition of a hybrid silica matrix using sol-gel technique. The complete wearable optoelectronic device has been realized assembling together the textile sensor with a novel low-power color sensing.
